About
The Silverton Psychology Group to provides an access point for clients in need of specialised psychological services for mental illness/mental health needs, intellectual or cognitive impairment, sexual offending and other problematic behaviours, and medico-legal matters. All our Psychologists work with individuals and their families and support network and organisations.
All have extensive experience in the mental health, disabilities and correctional sectors, and have undertaken training across as well as having Area of Practice Endorsements in Forensic, Clinical, and Health Psychology. All have expertise in dealing with vulnerable and at-risk people. Common treatment areas include: Intellectual Disability, Autism, Major Depression / Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Personality disorders,Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
You may be referred by your doctor or you can request to see one of our psychologists. Our services are rebatable through Medicare and gap payments contribute to patients reaching the Medicare Safety Net.
Silverton Psychology is centrally located on Wickham Terrace, only a short walk from Central Train Station. We are co-located with the Brisbane Neuropsychology Clinic, providing additional options for the assessment of impairments.

Clinical and Forensic Psychologist
Dr Hatzipatrou is a clinical and forensic psychologist with expertise in delivering treatment services to people with intellectual disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and mental illness.
Nick Smith
Forensic Psychologist
Mr Smith specialised in the treatment of severe mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, problematic sexual behaviours, and impulse control issues (including substance use and gambling).
Dr Tim Lowry
Clinical and Forensic Psychologist
Dr Lowry is a clinical and forensic psychologist with expertise in delivering treatment services to people with intellectual disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and mental illness.
Rebecca Geddes
Health Psychologist and Criminologist
Ms Geddes works with people who have dysregulated behaviour (e.g., sexual, general and intimate family violence), substance misuse, and mental health difficulties.
